Animal Medical Center in Brookhaven, MS, is hiring a Veterinarian Technician to support our doctors and team in delivering compassionate patient care across a mixed-animal practice. You will help restrain patients, collect samples, assist with imaging, anesthesia, surgery, and record-keeping while fostering a collaborative, learning-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of veterinary experience, accepts weekend shifts, and brings strong customer service and communication

Competenze

• At least 1 year of veterinary experience preferred.
• CVT, RVT, or LVT credentials are a plus.
• Weekend availability.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of preventive care, surgical procedures, and veterinary hospital flow.
• Strong animal restraint and low-stress handling skills.
• Experience with laboratory sample collection and processing.
• Experience positioning and capturing radiographs.
• Anesthesia and surgical monitoring experience.
• Accurate medical record documentation skills.
• A self-starter mindset and desire to advance your veterinary knowledge and skillset.
• The ability to receive and apply constructive feedback professionally.

As a mixed animal veterinary practice, we primarily care for companion animals while also serving local farms and large-animal patients. Our experienced team includes three full-time veterinarians, three Certified Veterinary Technicians, four animal caretakers, and three receptionists who work together to create a supportive, team-oriented environment. Job Description

What You’ll Do

As a Veterinarian Technician, you’ll support our doctors and veterinary team throughout the patient care process. Responsibilities may include:
