Job summary

VCA Valley Veterinary Animal Hospital in Lower Burrell, PA is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our GP practice. You will work on our team Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, providing compassionate care and support to veterinarians.

Qualifications

• Experience in a veterinary GP setting is preferred.
• Strong patient and client communication skills preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical exams and patient assessments.
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures.
• Assist veterinarians during surgery and dental procedures.
• Take radiographs and perform basic imaging QC.
• Process laboratory samples and perform routine tests.
• Perform venipuncture and catheter placement.
• Assist with patient recovery and monitoring post-procedure.

VCA Valley Veterinary Animal Hospital in Lower Burrell, PA is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our one-of-a-kind GP practice! We are seeking a self-motivated and compassionate person to work on our team Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.

Our hospital has been serving the Lower Burrell/New Kensington area for over 30 years. We are AHAA accredited and believe in providing the best possible care to our patients.

Our hospital is a fast paced general practice that sees emergencies, as well. Experience is preferred.
