Job summary

Animal HealthCare Center in Lake Worth, FL is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to support outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry. You will balance exam room care, client communication, and hands-on procedural support in a dynamic general practice.

We offer a flexible, full-time schedule (5/8) with Monday–Friday availability and two Saturday shifts per month, plus a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth in a tech-driven hospital.

Qualifications

Animal HealthCare Center is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry.

We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment - balancing exam room care, client communication, and hands-on procedural support. We value experienced technicians for the clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills they bring across all areas of the hospital, helping elevate the quality of medicine, client experience, and patient care.

In this position, you will play a key role in both outpatient and procedural workflows, contributing to a consistent, high standard of care throughout the patient visit.

Schedule and compensation:

• Compensation: $19-23 per hour, for each hour worked
• This is a flexible, full-time position, with a 5/8 schedule and availability needed Monday-Friday, with 2 Saturday shifts per month.

Minimum qualifications and skill set:

• 1+years of veterinary technician or veterinary assistant experience
• Proficiency in the following skills:
  • Patient assessment, nursing care, and monitoring
  • Surgical assistance and aseptic technique
  • Venipuncture and intravenous catheter placement
  • Radiology positioning and safety protocols
  • Medication administration
  • Laboratory sample collection and in-house diagnostic testing
  • Accurate medical record documentation
  • Safe, low-stress patient handling and restraint techniques
  • Client education and communication
