Job summary

Brentwood Country Animal Hospital in Exeter, NH is seeking an experienced veterinary technician to join a busy Seacoast area practice. Responsibilities include exam assistance, venipuncture and IV catheter placement, lab sampling, anesthetic monitoring, digital and dental x-rays, cold laser therapy, and client education.

We value teamwork, honesty, reliability, and multi-tasking ability. Certification is preferred but training can be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience and certification are preferred but will train the right candidate.
• Proficiency with Avimark is a bonus.
• Hours: M-F, 8-5; no weekends or after hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist with exams and procedures as directed by veterinarians.
• Perform venipuncture and place IV catheters for procedures and treatments.
• Collect laboratory samples and assist with anesthesia monitoring.
• Take and interpret digital dental x-rays; assist with dental procedures.
• Provide client education on pet care and post-visit instructions.

Seacoast area busy 2-3 doctor veterinary practice is looking for an experienced veterinary technician to join our team. Responsibilities include exam assistance, proficiency in venipuncture and IV catheter placement, lab sampling, anesthetic monitoring, digital and dental x-rays, cold laser therapy treatment, and client education.

We are looking for someone who is a team player, honest, reliable and able to multi-task. Experience and certification are preferred but will work to train the right candidate.

Proficiency with Avimark is a bonus.

Full time benefits include health and dental insurance, 401K matching, PTO, uniform allowance, employee pet discount, CVT licensure renewal, and continuing education. There is a 90 day waiting period that applies to new hires.

Hours: M-F, 8-5, no weekend or after hours

Full-time, Part-time available

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 + per hour

Education: Associated degree as a certified veterinary technician (Preferred)
