VCA Dunmore Animal Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Technician or Assistant to join our AHAA-accredited, state-of-the-art team in Dunmore, PA. We value individual skill, personality, and dedication to excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Must hold veterinary technician credentials (CVT/RVT/LVT).
• Experience supporting technicians and doctors in a fast-paced practice.
• Strong client communication and compassionate animal care.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations and patient assessments.
• Monitor anesthesia during procedures.
• Assist in surgical preparation and procedures.
• Provide dentistry, radiology, and laboratory support.
• Perform venipuncture and catheter placement.
• Assist pharmacy and medication management.
• Support patient recovery and compassionate care.
• Contribute to a positive client experience.

Salary

The salary range for this position starts at $20/hr based on experience.
