Animal Eye Care of New England is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our ophthalmology referral practice in South Deerfield, MA. The role involves assisting during exams and surgeries, anesthesia care, client communication, and maintaining efficient daily workflows.

The ideal candidate will have a current CVT and at least 3 years of anesthesia experience, with strong technical and monitoring skills.

Animal Eye Care of New England is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our modern, well-established ophthalmology referral practice in South Deerfield, Massachusetts.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled technician who thrives in a fast-paced specialty environment and wants to expand their clinical skills while working alongside a talented and collaborative team.

About the Role

Our ophthalmology technicians serve as the doctor's right hand throughout appointments and surgical procedures. They play an essential role in organizing the doctor's daily clinical activities, communicating with clients and staff, and advocating for patients and their families throughout their care.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting veterinarians during ophthalmology appointments and surgical procedures
• Preparing, monitoring, and caring for patients undergoing anesthesia
• Communicating with clients regarding patient care and treatment
• Humane patient restraint and handling
