Job summary

VCA Clinton Township Animal Hospital in Clinton Township, MI is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join our AAHA-accredited six-doctor team. You will work closely with veterinarians to support a variety of medical procedures and guide clients through their pet's care.

Responsibilities include anesthesia monitoring, dental cleanings, radiographs, administering medications, collecting samples, and educating clients on treatment plans.

Qualifications

• CVT, LVT, or RVT credential or VTNE eligibility.

Full-time Veterinary Technician at VCA Clinton Township Animal Hospital

About Our Hospital

At VCA Clinton Township Animal Hospital, you'll join an AAHA-accredited 6-doctor that is dedicated in delivering the best medical care for pets and the best experience for pet owners.

The Role

As a Veterinary Technician, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care. You'll work closely with our veterinarians to support a variety of medical procedures while helping guide clients through their pet's care with confidence and compassion.

What You'll Do

• Assist with surgical procedures, including anesthesia monitoring and recovery
• Perform dental cleanings, charting, and radiographs
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments
• Collect samples and run in-house diagnostics
• Place catheters and support patient treatments
• Educate clients on care plans, medications, and follow-up

What We Are Looking For

• Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, RVT) or eligible to sit for the VTNE
• Strong technical and clinical skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to high-quality patient care

Schedule

Full-time opportunity, 5 x 8-hour shifts

Compensation

Pay range is $20 -26/hr and is negotiable based on experience, skills, knowledge, abilities and other relevant credentials.
