Job summary

Austin Veterinary Diagnostic Hospital in Southwest Austin is seeking a full-time Veterinary Technician to join a well-equipped practice providing in-house diagnostics and comprehensive patient care. You will work closely with veterinarians during exams, surgeries, and anesthesia monitoring, delivering high-quality nursing care and client communication.

The role offers 4- or 5-day schedules with rotating Saturdays, and a negotiable salary based on experience along with a robust benefits package

Qualifications

• 2+ years of veterinary technician experience preferred.
• Surgery and anesthesia monitoring experience preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians with exams, surgery, and anesthesia monitoring.

• Status: Full-time
• Salary: Negotiable and based on experience
• Schedule: 4-day or 5-day week options, one closing shift needed, 8-7 pm or 10-7 pm. Rotating Saturdays

Our clients appreciate our commitment to providing all veterinary services in one location on the same day (in most cases). We have a full suite of diagnostic technology enabling us to conduct ALL procedures in-house for client convenience. This includes a CT scan, an ultrasound machine, endoscope/arthroscope equipment, a CO2 surgical laser, a dental X-ray handgun, a fully equipped laboratory, and more!!
