Caring Hands Ashburn is seeking a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to provide skilled patient care and exceptional service to clients. The role emphasizes animal handling, client communication, and veterinary procedures in a collaborative team environment.

The position offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, a 401(k) plan, and professional development opportunities. Schedule is Monday–Friday with no weekends, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus is available.

Qualifications

• LVT certification required or equivalent licensure.
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
• Familiarity with disease states and patient condition changes.
• Knowledge of safety guidelines (DEA, OSHA) in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians with patient care, exams, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery.
• Safely handle and restrain animals with compassion.
• Communicate care instructions and status updates to clients.
• Perform lab work, radiographs, injections, IV catheter placement.
• Maintain accurate medical records and assist with medications.
• Keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment clean and stocked.
• Follow hospital safety and regulatory guidelines at all times.
