New Hope Veterinary Hospital, part of the United Veterinary Care network, is seeking an experienced Surgical Veterinary Technician to join our surgery-focused team in New Hope, PA. You will monitor anesthesia, assist in surgeries, and ensure safe recoveries for patients.

Qualifications

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Several years of clinical experience with strong anesthesia and surgical skills.
• Calm, focused and steady under busy conditions.
• A team player who communicates well and supports colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for surgery, including catheter placement, lab work, and anesthesia protocols.
• Induce, monitor, and recover anesthesia with attention to safety.
• Assist in a variety of surgical procedures and maintain efficiency in the suite.
• Oversee surgical prep and maintain sterile technique.
• Support dental procedures, including radiographs and cleanings.
• Keep detailed, accurate records throughout procedures.
• Contribute to general technician duties as needed.
