Job summary

Red Plains Veterinary Emergency + Referral in Oklahoma City is seeking a residency-trained or board-certified veterinary surgeon to join a collaborative team in a high-level specialty and emergency hospital. The role offers exposure to advanced surgical techniques and cutting-edge diagnostics in a busy referral environment.

You will work alongside emergency clinicians, specialists, and a CCRP, enabling seamless surgical and post-operative care with a diverse caseload and strong mentorship

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent veterinary degree.
• Active veterinary license in good standing.
• Residency-trained or board-certified veterinary surgeon (DACVS or equivalent).
• Strong communication and collaboration in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Interest in working within a multi-specialty, emergency and referral environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced veterinary surgical care in a high-level specialty and emergency hospital.
• Collaborate with emergency and critical care veterinarians, specialists, and rehab staff.
• Contribute to research studies and ongoing professional growth.
• Mentor and support junior veterinarians and interns.
