Animal Emergency & Specialty Center of Knoxville is seeking a residency-trained or board-certified surgeon to join our premier specialty practice in Knoxville, TN. You will treat a wide range of orthopedic, oncology, thoracic, abdominal, and soft-tissue conditions, working with a team of specialists and advanced technology.

Our 24-hour ICU, modern surgical suite, and strong referral network support outstanding patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Residency-trained or board-certified surgeon is required for this role.
• Strong surgical skills across orthopedic, oncology, thoracic, abdominal, and soft-tissue procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead surgical cases with collaboration from specialty teams.
• Provide high-quality patient care and post-operative monitoring.
• Engage with referring veterinarians to ensure successful outcomes.
• Participate in ongoing training and clinical program development.

Board-certified surgeons at Animal Emergency & Specialty Center treat a wide range of veterinary orthopedic, oncology, thoracic, abdominal, and soft-tissue conditions. We combine the expertise of our surgeons with other specialists and the most advanced technology and surgical procedures to ensure our patients receive extraordinary care.

Our highly-trained technical staff continuously monitor yourpatients anesthesia and recovery. AESC is equipped with the latest specialized instrumentation and equipment. Our Intensive Care Unit is staffed 24 hours a day so that your patient is carefully monitored post-operatively. Our surgical team works closely with the local referring veterinarians to achieve a successful surgical outcome for our patients.
