Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree and licensure eligibility.
• Board Certification in Surgery (DACVS) or surgical residency.
• Strong surgical and patient care skills.
• Excellent communication with clients and teams.

• Interest in leadership and growing the surgical service.

Responsibilities

• Balance consultations, case workups, and surgeries.
• Perform orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries with imaging.
• Collaborate with other specialties to manage complex cases.
• Help shape the surgical service in line with hospital priorities.
• Work with dedicated surgical nursing and support staff.
• Communicate clearly with pet owners throughout care.
