Salary: $220,000–$280,000 + Sign-On Bonus + Relocation Support

Southern Rockies Animal Emergency & Specialty Hospital (SRAESH) in beautifulColorado Springs, Colorado, is seeking aboard-certified or residency-trained veterinary surgeonto join our fast-paced and highly collaborative team. This is arare opportunityto step into aready-to-go surgical caseloadbuilt by ourexceptionally busy, 24/7 emergency department. With no competing specialties on-site and a committed referral base already in place, this role is ideal for a surgeon eager to make an immediate and meaningful impact.

What You’ll Find at Southern Rockies:

  • 3 fully equipped ORs, includingnew surgical lights,C-arm (GE 256),newer CT, anddigital radiography
  • Minimally invasive surgery (MIS)capabilities,standard endoscope,nitrogen drill
  • Turn-key caseloadfed by a robust ER that sees a high volume of surgical cases
  • On-call support structure: our capable ER doctors are trained and willing to take cases, so you'renot on call 24/7
  • Strong internal culturewith tenured staff (10–15 years) and a history ofpromoting from within
  • Supportive mentorship networkavailable across Colorado, including potential collaboration with other local hospitals
  • Fun, client-focused culture, including community events like pet photos with Santa
What We’re Looking For:
  • Residency-trained or board-certifiedveterinary surgeon (ACVS or equivalent)
  • Comfortable with a mix ofsoft tissue and orthopediccases
  • A desire tobuild and shape the surgery servicewithin a growing hospital
  • Team-first attitude and enthusiasm for supporting ER and future specialty colleagues (we’re currently interviewing neurologists)
  • Competitive base salary: $220,000–$280,000, depending on experience and qualifications
