High quality hospital is seeking a boarded or board eligible Veterinary Surgeon. We have advanced equipment and top-notch staff.

Qualifications include a DVM degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university; residency training with board eligibility or certification in surgery; licensure in good standing to practice in Texas; excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, friendly attitude.

This hospital is located in an under the radar gem of a town. It is one of the safest cities of it’s size in the United States consistently year after year. It is an ideal location for an avid hunter and outdoors person. There is world-class elk hunting in a pristine Alpine setting nearby. Snow skiing is in two different locations within 2.5 hours. Historic sites and a national monument are within driving distance. Bands frequently stop in the area to play. The schools are fantastic. The community, especially the professional community is amazing. It is a small town and veterinarians are very prominent in the community. The city has a 1 million people and the practice sees 5,000 emergencies a year. Many of their cases will transfer from the ER and Surgical service. The position is open due to expansion in the practice.
