Thrive-University Partnership Opportunities

Each year, Thrive Pet Healthcare partners with our University Hospital colleagues to offer additional veterinary residencies. The university locations and specialties vary each year. For a July 2026 start, we offer training in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology and Surgery. During the residency, the doctor enjoys the same experience and benefits as their peers, with some extra professional support. Following residency, the specialist works at a Thrive location the number of years equal to the length of her/his/their residency, and enjoys the benefits and community of our Thrive network. • SA Surgery opportunities supported by Thrive will be at the following universities - UGA, Missouri, and Wisconsin - and available through the VIRMP.
