Job summary

Puget Sound Veterinary Specialty & Emergency (PSVSE) is seeking a Full-Time Veterinary Sonographer to join our Specialty and Emergency Hospital in Gig Harbor, Washington. You will perform high-quality ultrasound studies, obtain diagnostic samples, and work closely with teleconsultation radiologists to uphold excellent patient care.

The ideal candidate is a credentialed veterinary technician with 3+ years of ultrasound experience, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to ongoing professional

Puget Sound Veterinary Specialty & Emergency (PSVSE) is looking to welcome a Full-Time Veterinary Sonographer to join our Specialty and Emergency Hospital on the Olympic Peninsula.

We provide referral and emergency services to much of the Puget Sound/Tacoma area. Our specialties include Emergency, Neurology, Oncology and Internal Medicine. The fully equipped and staffed ER and ICU will help you to manage all your cases to the highest standard. What You’ll Do

• Perform high-quality ultrasound studies and obtain diagnostic samples as requested
• Collaborate with teleconsultation radiologists and maintain strong, professional relationships while incorporating their feedback

What You Need

• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT/LVMT), Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), and/or equivalent experience (such as formal sonography course certificates)
• 3+ years of veterinary ultrasound experience
• Confidence in mentoring others and both giving and receiving constructive feedback
• A strong desire to continue growing as a sonographer through ongoing training and continuing education
