Banfield Pet Hospital in Westlake Village, CA is seeking a patient-focused team member to provide exceptional customer service and support for our veterinary practice. You will greet clients, answer questions, process payments, schedule appointments, and help manage patient records in a busy reception area.

The role emphasizes accurate data entry, handling payments, order processing, and maintaining a clean, welcoming waiting room for clients and their pets. Prior service experience is valued.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, process incoming patients, and handle payments.
• Answer phone calls, screen and schedule appointments.
• Handle incoming and outgoing mail and email.
• Update and file patient charts.
• Enter data into a computerized billing program.
• Process credit card payments and prepare bank deposits.
• Retrieve prescriptions.
• Assist with pet supply purchases such as food, supplements, and grooming items.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the waiting room.
