Job description

When you join Baxter Veterinary Clinic, you become part of a committed team dedicated to providing progressive medical and surgical care in a warm, family-oriented environment. Since 2011, we have built deep community trust, reflected by our excellent 4.9-star Google rating. We are proud to be an American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited facility, recognized worldwide as the benchmark for quality care in veterinary medicine. You will be practicing high-quality medicine alongside the 15% of animal hospitals in the US and Canada that meet these rigorous standards. If you are looking for a place where you can nurture the bond between pets and their people in the Fort Mill, SC community, this is where you can do your best work. At Baxter Veterinary Clinic, we believe our success relies on strong teammates who feel supported every day. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of six veterinarians, all committed to creating custom health care plans for individual pets. Our hospital environment is deliberately family-oriented, ensuring that you feel like a valued member of the larger group while receiving the encouragement you need to grow your clinical skills. We treat pets as if they were our own, and we consider our clients and our teammates to be members of that family. You will have access to a full suite of services that emphasize comprehensive patient care. Our capabilities include Wellness and Prevention, advanced Testing and Diagnostics, and complex Surgical Procedures. The AAHA accreditation ensures that every aspect of our care, from anesthesiology and diagnostic imaging to surgical standards and emergency services, meets the highest industry benchmarks. We focus on progressive medical and surgical standards, ensuring that when a pet is dealing with an urgent matter, we are equipped to stabilize them and provide necessary Advanced Care. Baxter Veterinary Clinic is centrally located in Fort Mill, SC, serving the broader Tega Cay community. This area offers a blend of suburban convenience and easy access to larger metropolitan amenities just across the North Carolina border. You can find us centrally located on Stonecrest Blvd, where you can serve a community that is deeply invested in their pets' well-being.

  • Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: You'll maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions, keeping the hospital running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Advocate for Pet Health: You'll be a key partner in pet wellness, educating clients on preventative care and other hospital services to ensure every pet gets the best care possible.
  • Embody Compassion and Empathy: You'll be a calming presence for clients, demonstrating empathy and respect in every situation and treating each pet like your own.
What You'll Bring to the Team
  • A passion for providing excellent customer service and a genuine love for animals.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
