Supreme Search Specialists is seeking a veterinary radiologist in Portland, Maine, to provide advanced diagnostic imaging for companion animals. Board-certified or residency-trained candidates will interpret radiographs, ultrasound, CT, and MRI, and collaborate with surgeons and emergency clinicians to guide treatment plans.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree or equivalent.
• Board certification in Veterinary Radiology (DACVR) or residency training.
• Current Maine veterinary license or eligibility.

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced veterinary diagnostic imaging services for companion animals.
• Interpret imaging studies including radiographs, ultrasound, CT and MRI.
• Perform diagnostic ultrasound and other imaging procedures within competency.
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive diagnostic imaging reports.
• Collaborate with surgeons, emergency clinicians and specialists for diagnosis and planning.
• Offer guidance on imaging modalities and approaches.
• Support management of complex medical and surgical cases.
• Maintain high standards of diagnostic accuracy and patient safety.
• Communicate imaging findings with referring veterinarians.
• Contribute to development and improvement of imaging protocols.
• Mentor technicians and staff in imaging practices.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development.
