Job summary

Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists in Buzzards Bay, MA is seeking a Veterinary Radiologist to join our on-site emergency and specialty hospital. The role emphasizes collaboration, teaching, and participation in clinical decision-making with a supportive imaging team.

The ideal candidate is board-certified or board-eligible (DACVR), committed to high-quality patient care, and eager to help grow our Diagnostic Imaging service as we expand with MRI and fluoroscopy capabilities.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Veterinary Radiologist or board-eligible candidate.
• DACVR board certification or board eligibility.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
• Interest in mentorship, teaching, and clinical education.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and advancing imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic imaging interpretation for a busy emergency and specialty caseload.
• Collaborate with multiple services including Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Emergency and Critical Care.
• Work closely with technical and support teams.
• Mentor interns, residents, and veterinary technicians.
• Participate in rounds, case discussions, and continuing education.
• Help grow the Diagnostic Imaging service as CCVS expands.
• Maintain work-life balance with a four-day workweek.
