Job summary

Veterinary Specialty Hospital – North County is seeking a board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Radiologist to join our diagnostic imaging team in San Marcos, California. This full-time role offers a base salary of $250,000–$300,000 depending on experience, plus production, with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree with eligibility for California licensure.
• Board certification in Veterinary Radiology or residency with board eligibility.
• Strong diagnostic and communication skills.
• Collaborative approach to multidisciplinary medicine.

Responsibilities

• Interpret advanced diagnostic imaging studies across a diverse specialty referral caseload.
• Collaborate with clinicians across Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology, ECC, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, and Interventional Radiology.
• Provide imaging consultations to help guide diagnostic and treatment decisions.
• Support advanced imaging procedures and image-guided interventions.
• Utilize MRI, CT, ultrasound, radiography, and fluoroscopy according to clinical need.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and treatment planning.
• Build relationships with referring veterinarians and serve as an imaging resource for the community.
• Mentor interns, residents, students, and veterinary team members.
