Job summary

Locust Valley Veterinary Clinic, Locust Valley, NY, seeks a Veterinary Practice Manager to lead our Administrative department. This hands-on leadership role balances team development with patient care, reporting to the Managing Veterinarian and hospital leadership.

You will drive daily operations, coaching, scheduling, client experience, and process improvements while fostering a collaborative, compassionate hospital culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years experience in a veterinary hospital or clinic.
• Strong Veterinary Assistant or Technician skills: patient handling, assisting doctors/techs, treatment support, and clinic workflow.
• Leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a collaborative, high-performing team.
• Oversee daily operations and workflow efficiency.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members.
• Assist on the treatment floor as needed to support patient care.
