The ideal candidate has 2+ years of pharmacy technician experience, excellent client service, and strong organizational skills, with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Knowledge of pharmaceuticals and inventory management.
• Detail-oriented and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain pharmacy with supplies needed for daily hospital operations and place orders as necessary.
• Manage pharmacy inventory and anticipate upcoming needs across departments.
• Receive and process prescription refill requests in a timely manner.
• Keep pharmacy area organized, clean, and free of clutter or debris.
• Dispense prescribed medications and pharmaceuticals according to legal and professional standards.
• Review prescriptions from veterinarians for accuracy and determine appropriate formulas and ingredients.
• Answer client questions regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and use.
