Job summary

Cencora, Inc. seeks a licensed pharmacist for our veterinary pharmacy operations. You will dispense medications, manage prescriptions, and coordinate with veterinarians and healthcare partners to ensure safe, accurate delivery. The role involves cross-training across all pharmacy functions, maintaining records, and upholding high customer service standards.

Hours are 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts; non-compounding, closed-door environment. Pennsylvania license required.

Qualifications

Pharmacy degree from accredited college
Current state pharmacist license (unrestricted)
New graduates encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

Obtain valid prescription information from licensed veterinarian before dispensing
Initiate and receive calls and faxes for medication orders
Dispense medications per veterinarian prescription
Prepare medication for end-user per standards of veterinary pharmacy
Label medications correctly and deliver to end-users safely and timely
Maintain records of all drugs dispensed and prescriptions filled
Prepare required reports (daily dispensing log, monthly usage reports)
Store drugs in appropriate conditions
Maintain high standard of customer service
Cross-train across all pharmacy operations and multi-state licensure
