Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage ophthalmic disorders in referral and emergency patients.
• Perform ophthalmic surgical procedures with advanced resources.
• Collaborate with Internal Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, and ECC to design treatment plans.
• Provide ophthalmic consultations for hospitalized patients.
• Utilize CT, ultrasound, radiography, and specialty diagnostics.
• Build relationships with referring veterinarians through communication.
• Guide pet owners through diagnoses and treatment options with empathy.
• Mentor staff and contribute to a culture of learning.
• Participate in continuing education and specialty rounds.
• Help grow the Ophthalmology service and hospital culture.
