Job summary

Specialty & Emergency Hospital in Sonoma and Marin Counties is expanding its Oncology service and seeking a Veterinary Oncology Technician (RVT, VTS – Oncology) to support our Oncology Veterinarian and multidisciplinary teams in delivering thoughtful cancer care. The role combines strong clinical skills with emotional intelligence, precision, and a passion for specialty medicine.

RVT licensure is preferred; VTS (Oncology) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply as we deepen oncology

Qualifications

• Licensed RVT with oncology or specialty practice experience.
• Preference for VTS Oncology candidates.
• Strong IV catheter placement and lab skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• High attention to detail and safety protocols.
• Emotional maturity and professionalism in sensitive clinical situations.
• Interest in continuing education and long-term oncology skill development.
