BluePearl Levittown, PA seeks a full-time board-certified or residency-trained Veterinary Oncologist to join a collaborative, multi-specialty hospital. You will deliver advanced cancer care and develop individualized treatment plans for companion animals.

The Oncology service benefits from an equipped suite, access to CT, MRI, and in-house labs, and a team of surgeons, internists, radiologists, and emergency staff.

Qualifications

• Board-certified veterinary oncologist or residency-trained in oncology.
• Experience in a busy multi-specialty hospital preferred.
• Strong communication with clients and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced oncology care and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons, internists, radiologists, and ER in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Educate clients on options, prognosis, and follow-up care.

BluePearl Levittown is a state-of-the-art, 20,000-square-foot specialty and emergency veterinary hospital that opened in 2011. Our Oncology department currently includes one full-time Oncologist, and we are expanding the service due to increasing caseload demand.

In this collaborative and innovative environment, you will work alongside specialists in:

• Anesthesiology
• Cardiology
• Clinical Pathology
• Dentistry and Oral Surgery

Hospital Highlights

• Dedicated oncology suite located in a quiet area of the hospital with ample patient space and multiple workstations
• Chemotherapy preparation area conveniently located adjacent to the oncology suite
• Advanced imaging and diagnostics including CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, and ultrasound
• Board-certified radiologists on-site six days per week
• Radioiodine I-131 treatment service for cats with hyperthyroidism
• Separate canine and feline wards
• ICU equipped with Snyder oxygen cages, high-flow oxygen, telemetry, and mechanical ventilation
• On-site and in-house laboratory services including VCM viscoelastic monitoring
