Job summary

Nashville Veterinary Specialists is seeking a Board-Certified Neurologist to join an established neurology service with a strong referral network in Nashville, TN. You will work alongside a boarded anesthesiologist for imaging and surgical cases, with on-site MRI/CT and in-house radiation oncology, ensuring seamless patient care.

The role offers collaboration with a broad specialty team and a robust 24/7 emergency and critical care support.

Qualifications

• Board certification or completed residency training in neurology (ACVIM) with expectation to pass boards within two years.
• Residents finishing in 2027 and 2028 are welcome to start the conversation now - we would rather meet you early than miss you.

Responsibilities

• Join an established neurology service with a mature referral stream and a colleague to share call.
• On-site MRI and CT with a boarded anesthesiologist supporting imaging and surgical cases.
• On-site radiation oncology - brain tumor patients stay in-house for SRT.
• Boarded colleagues in critical care, internal medicine, surgery, anesthesiology, cardiology, medical oncology, and radiation oncology.
• 24-hour emergency and critical care teams caring for hospitalized and post-operative patients.
• Electrodiagnostics, digital radiography, ultrasound, endoscopy, and cystoscopy.
• Two newly constructed facilities totaling 34,000 square feet.
