Job summary

South Atlanta Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Center is seeking a Veterinary Medical Neurologist to join a thriving team committed to exceptional patient care. The role leverages a 24/7 ER center with strong referral relationships and access to advanced imaging, in-house lab, and pharmacy across Thrive Pet Healthcare’s network.

The ideal candidate will hold a DVM/VMD, be licensed in the state, hold or be eligible for DEA licensure, and be board-certified or residency-trained in veterinary

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required.
  • State Veterinary Board License in good standing required.
  • Active DEA license or eligibility required.
  • Board Certified Veterinary Neurologist or residency-trained veterinarian.

  • In 2017, we transitioned to a modern, well-equipped 14,000-square-foot facility.
  • Our facility features cutting-edge equipment, including Direct Digital Radiography, CT Scanner, and Ultrasound.

Experience & Skills Requirements
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required
  • State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, before their start date.
  • Active DEA license or DEA licensure eligible.
  • Board CertifiedVeterinary Neurologist or Residency Trained Veterinarian.
