Colorado Animal Specialty & Emergency (CASE) in Boulder, CO, seeks Veterinary Nephrology & Urology Specialist to lead a growing service within a multidisciplinary hospital. The role offers a high base salary with production bonuses and a path to clinical leadership.

You will diagnose complex cases, perform advanced procedures, collaborate with internal medicine, surgery, and critical care, and mentor staff while leveraging state-of-the-art technology.

  • Board Certification in Veterinary Nephrology & Urology or Residency training required.

In Your Day-to-Day, You Will
  • Diagnose and manage complex nephrology and urology cases, including acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, ureteral obstructions, and lower urinary tract disorders
  • Perform and support advanced nephrology and urology procedures, including subcutaneous ureteral bypass (SUB) placement and management, percutaneous cystolithotomy (PCCL), minimally invasive endourology procedures, and extracorporeal therapies
  • Collaborate closely with specialists in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Critical Care, Oncology, Neurology, and Diagnostic Imaging to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools including fluoroscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and an extensive in-house laboratory
  • Participate in the continued growth and development of the Nephrology & Urology service and associated clinical programs
  • Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care
  • Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning
