Job summary

Revive Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital in Prosper, TX, is seeking a Board-Certified or residency-trained Veterinary Medical Oncologist to join a growing specialty team. This privately owned, veterinarian-led hospital offers 24/7 emergency and specialty services with a strong internal medicine and surgery collaboration.

You will help develop a comprehensive medical oncology program, lead chemotherapy protocols, and contribute to education and clinical research within a supportive,

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in DACVIM-Oncology or residency with board eligibility.
• Active Texas license or eligibility before starting employment.
• Strong clinical skills in diagnosing, staging, and managing neoplastic diseases in dogs and cats.
• Knowledge of contemporary veterinary chemotherapy protocols and supportive oncology care.
• Experience in chemotherapy administration, treatment planning, toxicity management, and patient monitoring.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with referring veterinarians, specialists, emergency veterinarians, technicians, and pet owners.
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine, compassionate patient care, and professional integrity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead a comprehensive oncology program with input from internal medicine and surgery.
• Collaborate with referring veterinarians and specialists to advance cancer care.
• Build and refine chemotherapy protocols and treatment pathways.
