Job summary

Centralia Animal Hospital is seeking a Medical Director to lead a full-service small animal practice with a focus on preventive care and client education. You will balance clinical practice with leadership, guiding medical standards while enjoying a collaborative, experienced veterinary team.

The role offers a salary range of $130K–$145K with a profit-sharing program, comprehensive benefits, PTO, CE sponsorship, and licensing fee coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience in veterinary leadership and medical direction.
• Oversee multi-doctor medical and surgical cases.
• Strong client communication and education.
• Mentor and train staff across the team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee surgical and medical cases for all doctors, ensuring positive outcomes, accurate estimates, and client communication and education.
• Answer client questions and concerns regarding medical and surgical procedures.
• Provide oversight and direction of medical standards, quality of care and inventory.
• Minimize waste and controls costs relating to medical supplies, surgical instruments, and drug inventories.
• Participate in the recruiting and interviewing process for Doctors and staff; mentor associates.
