VCA Lewiston Animal Hospital in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Medical Director to guide medical quality and direction of the hospital while leveraging the backing of VCA’s operations and support teams. The role focuses on delivering world-class veterinary care in a community-driven setting.

The successful candidate will lead clinical excellence, mentor staff, and collaborate with specialists to advance patient outcomes, in a facility with a strong client base and a concierge support model.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in ME, or the ability to obtain.
• Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.

Responsibilities

• Lead veterinary medical direction and quality of care for the hospital.
• Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, HR and Payroll to support success.
