Global Talent Partners is seeking a Veterinary Medical Director in Middletown, NJ, a hospital-based leadership role with up to USD 210K salary. This position focuses on clinical quality, doctor engagement, and strategic patient care across local hospitals.

You will mentor veterinarians, maintain medical records quality, ensure compliance with regulations, support recruitment, and balance leadership duties with hands-on care including dentistry, routine surgery, imaging, and in-house diagnostics.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from an accredited institution.
• Active New Jersey veterinary license or eligibility.
• Eligibility to work in the United States.
• DEA registration or eligibility with controlled substance compliance knowledge.
• Proficiency in general practice, dentistry, and routine surgery.
• Demonstrated leadership with coaching and team development.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; familiar with practice software.
• Commitment to high-quality client-centered care.
• Willingness to travel between hospitals as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on mentorship and onboarding for veterinarians.
• Lead medical standards and patient care across local hospitals.
• Split time between leadership duties and direct patient care.
• Oversee medical records quality and patient safety.
• Partner with management to achieve high-quality medicine and client experience.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and manage equipment/inventory.
• Travel between assigned hospitals as needed.
• Support recruitment and act as local ambassador.
