Ohana Pet Hospital in Ventura, CA is seeking an experienced veterinarian to lead our team as Medical Director. We operate four locations in Ventura, Agoura Hills and Santa Paula, with this role focusing on our Ventura team. This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling.

We are an AAHA-accredited, progressive companion animal practice that emphasizes teaching and staff development. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of practice, strong leadership, DVM or VMD, and California veterinary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of veterinary experience.
• Exceptional leadership skills; Medical Director experience is a plus.
• California veterinary license with ability to obtain a DEA license.
• Strong client communication and customer service skills.
• Commitment to continued education and teaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the veterinary team as Medical Director.
• Oversee clinical quality and patient care across the Ventura team.
• Foster staff development and teaching among clinicians and technicians.
