Global Talent Partners is seeking a Veterinary Medical Director in Temecula, CA to lead a busy, retail-based hospital with a broad caseload and on-site diagnostics. The role blends clinical medicine with leadership, quality oversight and mentorship of associate veterinarians.

The position offers a competitive, production-based compensation plan with full benefits and relocation assistance for qualified candidates, along with ongoing CE support.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD from an accredited institution.
• Active California veterinary license or ability to obtain promptly.
• DEA registration (or eligibility).
• Proven proficiency in general surgery and dentistry.
• Leadership experience coaching doctors or multi-site teams.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel between Temecula hospitals.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Lead, develop and mentor associate veterinarians across assigned hospitals to drive clinical excellence and engagement.
• Oversee permits and controlled substance management compliance.
• Partner with practice management to foster inclusive, collaborative culture and meet operational goals.
• Conduct medical record reviews, case audits and quality initiatives.
• Provide clinical care; balance clinical and leadership time per hospital needs.
• Coach newly hired veterinarians and support experiential learning in clinical, surgical, and dental skills.
• Recruit and interview veterinary talent; support student experiences and hospital visits.
• Ensure regulatory adherence, including radiation safety and state/federal requirements.
• Oversee medical equipment and maintenance; address client concerns about standards of care.
• Full-time, hospital-based working manager role.
