USVTA, Veterinary Recruiting is seeking an experienced Medical Director for a General Practice in Austin, TX to lead medical operations and guide clinical direction. The role requires a DVM and state license, plus a track record in team leadership and mentoring.

You will oversee doctors and staff, collaborate with the practice manager, and uphold high standards of patient and client care, while shaping the hospital's strategic clinical vision.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent (VMD) from AVMA accredited college.
• Active state license in good standing, or pursuing licensure.
• Current DEA license in good standing, or willing to obtain.
• Commitment to veterinary excellence and ethics.
• Leadership experience overseeing medical operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, oversee medical operations and clinical direction.
• Lead and mentor doctors and medical staff, overseeing daily clinical practice.
• Collaborate with the practice manager to ensure high-quality patient and client care.
