Job summary

VCA North Academy Animal Hospital in Colorado Springs is seeking a Medical Director to lead clinical excellence with autonomy and ownership. You will guide medical quality, collaborate with shared services, and mentor a skilled team across the hospital.

You will partner with Operations, Marketing, HR, and Payroll to support growth while maintaining a strong commitment to fear-free, high-quality care for dogs and cats.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, from an accredited university or equivalent.
• Licensure in good standing to practice in Colorado, or the ability to obtain
• A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics

Responsibilities

• Lead medical direction and quality of care at the hospital.
• Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, HR, Payroll, and other teams to support hospital success.
• Provide mentorship and support to veterinarians and the care team.
• Uphold high standards of medicine, ethics, and compassionate client service
