Job summary

Spencer Springs Animal Hospital is seeking a Medical Director to lead our clinical team toward excellence and strategic growth. This role blends clinical practice with executive leadership to shape medical direction and patient care.

You will mentor veterinarians and staff, establish medical protocols, and collaborate with hospital leadership to drive performance and innovation while maintaining compassionate care for pets and their families.

Qualifications

  • DVM degree required and active state license in good standing.
  • Current DEA license required for drug handling and prescribing.
  • 3–5 years of clinical experience; leadership or mentoring experience highly desirable.
  • Experience with practice management and team development is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the clinical team to deliver high-quality veterinary care and uphold standards.
