Job summary

Cowboy Kennels in San Antonio, TX, is seeking a friendly Kennel Technician to join our team and care for our pets in a compassionate, client-focused environment. You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to quality care and positive patient outcomes.

You’ll work four days a week with rotating Saturdays, perform kennel duties, assist with basic animal care, and help ensure a welcoming experience for clients and their pets while growing your skills with AmeriVet’s resources and network.

Qualifications

• Some veterinary experience (preferred).
• Some kennel experience (preferred).
• Must be available to work four days a week and rotating Saturdays.
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment.
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint.
• Excellent client communication/education.
• Self-driven and willingness to learn.

We are currently looking to hire a Kennel Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate will be a dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves pets and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have an understanding of the importance of being a positive and motivating team member.

Cowboy Kennels aims to provide owners with sound, honest choices for their pets and to provide our patients with excellent and compassionate medical care.
