Animal Hospital of Montgomery is seeking a Full-Time Kennel Assistant to support a fast-paced, multi-doctor animal hospital with patient care and excellent client service. Responsibilities include kennel upkeep, feeding schedules, administering prescribed medications, bathing animals, and daily communication with clients.

The ideal candidate will be able to lift 40 lbs, have prior animal-hospital experience and strong customer service skills, and be willing to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
• Prior customer service experience
• Prior experience working with animals in a hospital setting
• Ability to work in a wet environment

Responsibilities

• Care for boarding animals and provide feeding schedules; administer prescribed medications when required.
• Maintain kennel area: cleaning, mopping, and organization.
• Support front desk with client communication and scheduling as needed.
• Bathing animals and ensuring overall cleanliness and safety of patients.
