Garden State Veterinary Services in Woodbridge, NJ is hiring an Instrument Technician to support a multispecialty and emergency hospital. You will work with veterinary doctors, technicians, and specialists to ensure sterile, ready-to-use instruments for surgeries and procedures.

The role emphasizes preparation, sterilization, inventory management, and collaboration within a fast-paced hospital team. Prior specialty hospital experience is preferred; excellent organizational and communication

Responsibilities

• Monitor surgery schedule and ensure necessary equipment is ready for the team.
• Prepare OR and select packs, instruments, and materials for procedures.
• Transport patients to and from surgery as needed.
• Clean and sterilize instruments using ultrasonic cleaner and autoclave.
• Wrap packs and restock instruments for sterilization.
• Maintain instrument lists and stock levels; check for damaged equipment.
• Perform general cleaning and assist other hospital areas as needed.
