About the Role

We are seeking a Veterinary Hospitalist to provide overnight inpatient care for our multi-specialty hospital. This role is ideal for a veterinarian who enjoys medicine, attention to detail, and patient advocacy — without the demands of daytime client interactions or emergency trauma cases.

Highlights

• Care for a wide range of hospitalized patients, including:
• Post-operative cases from our Surgery service
• Internal medicine patients (kidney disease, liver disease, immune-mediated disorders)
• Cardiology patients (such as heart failure)
• Oncology patients experiencing complications related to chemotherapy or underlying disease
• Stable case mix — we are not an emergency service, so you will not manage ventilator-dependent or critical trauma patients
• Well-equipped ICU with advanced monitoring, oxygen support, and a dedicated isolation area
• Highly trained overnight nursing team focused on patient comfort and continuity of care
• Collaborative communication with specialists to ensure seamless patient transitions between day and night teams
• Independently owned hospital, so your input and expertise help shape protocols and workflows

Separate waiting rooms for each specialty service, ensuring that clients coming for routine care are not exposed to trauma or critical patients.
