Job summary

Animal Emergency Hospital & Urgent Care is seeking a dependable Cleaner/Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming veterinary ER environment. You will be responsible for disinfecting surfaces, cleaning floors, and supporting the clinical team in a busy hospital setting.

The role offers a consistent part-time schedule with some flexibility and competitive pay of $20–$25 per hour, based on experience. You will join a friendly, collaborative team dedicated to animal care.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect common surfaces throughout the hospital.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Sweep and mop all hospital floors.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Assist with laundry as needed.
• Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the hospital clean, organized, and presentable.

Schedule: Approximately 10 hours per week, primarily on Wednesdays and Saturdays (some scheduling flexibility available)

Pay: $20–$25 per hour , based on experience

Animal Emergency Hospital and Urgent Care is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Cleaner/Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in our busy veterinary ER. This role is essential in supporting the health and comfort of our patients, clients, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect common surfaces throughout the hospital
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment
• Sweep and mop all hospital floors
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors

• Assist with laundry as needed

Please note: This position is not responsible for cleaning kennels, stocking supplies, or sanitizing medical equipment. Those responsibilities remain with our clinical team.
