Qualifications

• Must be a third- or fourth-year veterinary student.
• Must be enrolled in the clinical portion of veterinary education.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a supervising veterinarian to gather patient histories.
• Perform physical examinations of animals.
• Assist with creating treatment plans.
• Participate in diagnostic procedures.
• Assist or perform dentistry services.
• Observe and assist or perform surgical procedures.
• Help with medical management of patients.
• Practice communication skills with the medical team, support staff, and clients.
