Job summary

Abqpetcarehospital in Springfield, Missouri offers a unique externship opportunity for veterinary students to gain valuable hands-on clinical experience.

Students will work closely with Associate Veterinarians to understand day-to-day operations, perform exams, and assist in surgeries. A travel/living expense stipend is available for eligible candidates.

The externship lasts from two to eight weeks, encouraging all veterinary students to participate in this enriching program.

Qualifications

• Veterinary students in the clinical portion of their education.
• Willingness to engage in hands-on clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering patient histories and performing physical exams.
• Help in creating treatment plans and diagnostics.
• Observe/assist or perform surgical procedures.
