Job summary

National Veterinary Associates (NVA) is offering a Veterinary Externship at Eagle Animal Hospital in the Riverside area. This externship enables veterinary students to observe and participate in daily hospital operations, including histories, exams, diagnostic workups, and dentistry.

Participants will work under supervising veterinarians and gain hands-on experience while developing communication skills with the medical team, staff, and clients.

Qualifications

• Externship for veterinary students to understand day-to-day hospital operations.
• Gain experience with patient histories, exams, treatment plans, diagnostics and dentistry.
• Opportunity to observe or assist surgical procedures and medical management.

Responsibilities

• Work with supervising Associate Veterinarians to gain clinical experience.
• Practice communication with the medical team, staff, and clients.
• Travel to different Eagle Animal Hospital locations (Riverside, Liberty, Tiffany Springs) as schedules allow.
