Love Pet Hospital in Austin, TX invites veterinary students to participate in a Veterinary Externship focused on mentorship and hands-on learning in a busy small animal practice.
Externs work side-by-side with Associate Veterinarians, receiving one-on-one guidance across histories, exams, diagnostics, surgery, dentistry and client communication.
Duration ranges from 2 to 4 weeks for 3rd and 4th year students, with an up-to-$1,500 travel stipend to support participation.

Our team of experienced veterinarians and skilled support staff is passionate about mentoring veterinary students and helping them grow in confidence and clinical ability. You'll gain hands‑on experience while being truly integrated into our team.
