Job summary

CareVet is seeking a veterinary professional to join a collaborative team across multiple hospitals in Northeast Florida. The role involves general practice and urgent care with modern equipment including ultrasound, digital radiology, dental radiology, and an in-house lab.

This position offers a sign-on bonus, full benefits, CE allowance, and licensing fees paid. Ideal candidates will hold a DVM/VMD, be licensed to practice in the state, and demonstrate compassion for animals plus excellent

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD or equivalent degree required.
• Licensure in the state of work.
• Ability to show compassion to both pets and owners.
• Excellent manual dexterity for handling animals during procedures.
• Ability to react quickly and decide under pressure for animal wellbeing.
• Strong affection and understanding of animals.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of animal behavior.
• Ability to use medical technologies in diagnosis, research and surgery.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care across general practice and urgent care caseload.
• Collaborate with mentorship teams for case discussions and decisions.
• Utilize ultrasound, radiology, and in-house lab for diagnostics.
• Maintain high standards of animal welfare and client communication.
